Dr. Bruce McIff

Neuroradiologist

Bruce McIff is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology and a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology. Dr. McIff is also a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He practiced Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology for 37 years at UVRMC in Provo Utah, and was on the medical staff of most hospitals in Central and Southern Utah. He was responsible for bringing the first MRI scanner to Utah Valley.

 

Dr. McIff was chairman of radiology for many years at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, directing the department of Radiology through significant growth into a major tertiary care facility. He served as president of the Utah Medical Association and in 1987 was awarded the Physician of the Year for the State of Utah.

 

Dr. McIff was active in teaching fellow physicians throughout the country in the area of Interventional Neuroradiology, directing the didactic and hands on course for Carotid stenting and Stroke Therapy, for the Society of Interventional Radiology. He also taught the Radiology residents at the University of Utah and was a Full Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Dr. McIff reviews each patients cervical and structural scans, providing our team with valuable insight to improve the quality of care. 

 

As the Neuroradiologist at Cognitive FX, Dr. McIff is excited to be part of this revolutionary entry of Functional MRI into the diagnosis and care of patients with neuro-cognitive disorders, and looks forward to the unique ability to diagnose and treat patients with concussion and other cognitive dysfunctions. He is also prepared to offer excellent diagnostic evaluation of the routine structural MRI of the brain and spine.
