Dr. Tyler Hanak, PhD, MS, HETSC, CNIM

Clinical Treatment Supervisor

Dr. Tyler Hanak is a Clinical Treatment Supervisor at Cognitive FX. He received his Doctorate of Neuroscience and Masters of Clinical Investigation at the University of Utah in 2018. Dr. Hanak is further a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholar with a certificate in Higher Education Teaching. His graduate research background includes the study of inflammation as it relates to seizure development and discovery of therapeutic targets for epilepsy.

 

Dr. Hanak's work is published in the Journal of Immunology, Experimental Neurology, and several other high-impact journals. He has extensive training as a certified surgical neurophysiologist. In this role, he performed neurological testing in over 1000 procedures to protect the patient's nervous system during brain and spine surgeries. Dr. Hanak currently participates in Cognitive FX's research initiatives, including facilitating the clinical use of functional near-infrared spectroscopy in brain injury.

 

He works alongside clinical directors and managers to maintain exceptional standards of care for Cognitive FX's patients.
