Hi, my name is Michael. I have suffered with what doctors have called MS, for multiple sclerosis, for about 16 years now. I had walked with a cane for much of that time, had to sleep a day or two, three, I don't know, sometimes when I got exhausted throughout that time. I was constantly dizzy, had a hard time concentrating and focusing on things. Yeah, I learned to cope with it but it was difficult. I heard about Cognitive FX and what they did for concussion patients and I wondered if they could maybe help me a little bit. Came in and we met with Dr. Fong and she was very optimistic about how much they could help. We were cautiously optimistic, that, you know, she could as well. We were wondering how much that she could do but we were willing to give it a try.
I came in the first day and the therapists and doctors I worked with were just incredible. They had tailored every exercise and every program to meet what I needed. They were really good at identifying what things were hard for me and pushing me, at the same time, you know, not torturing me but pushing me enough that I could improve. And went home after that first day, exhausted, of course, but woke up the next day bright and alert and more clearheaded than I think I'd ever been in at least in the last 16 years. Felt awesome and was excited to do more. Came back and it's just been better since then. I am off the cane now and I feel great. I'm mentally awake, mentally aware. I can think better. Anyway, I'm really impressed with all that they've been able to accomplish and all they've been able to do and would highly recommend them to anyone that's suffering from brain trauma or injury or difficulties with their brain, yeah.
-What do you see?
[Female] He's completely different than I've known him since we've been married. He's much more awake, much more alert, and has been able to do things the last two weeks that I've never seen in our married life. It's kind of amazing, it's really, it's been a real blessing for us, we're really glad that we tried it out, just gave it a shot, it's been great.
