Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, current certification and license in the state of Utah.
Cognitive FX specializes in treating individuals with post-concussion symptoms and/or brain injury. Our patients on average improve by 75% in one week. As the premier center for concussion treatment, we are looking for a teammate that is excited about learning and growing, bringing a new level of awareness to the TBI community, and to be committed to long and short-term goals that align with our overall mission and vision.
We are looking for a Certified Athletic Trainer who is licensed or eligible for license in Utah. Soft tissue experience preferred. Fitness training experience helpful. Must be willing to learn new things and adapt to our treatment style that is different than most! Pay is based on experience.
We are a multi-disciplinary clinic and you will be working with every member of the team to create a well-rounded and comprehensive treatment for each patient. You will work one on one with patients in 1-hour sessions as you help them through their recovery from a traumatic brain injury. Each appointment consists of soft tissue work, exercise protocols, balance work and coordinated movement training depending on what each patient needs. Be prepared to learn a lot about concussions and the new and developing treatment protocols that we are pioneering.
