Clinical Nurse - Concussion Specialist

Cognitive FX specializes in treating individuals with brain injuries.
This is a full-time in person role located in Provo Utah.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the clinic. The Registered Nurse will also be responsible for coordinating and the therapy program, working with groups of patients diagnosed with mild to moderate brain injury. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Pay: $38.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient education and counseling.
- Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Implement any feedback from patients and/or staff members to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Answer any questions related to the science and pathology of concussion, post-concussion syndrome (PCS), COVID-induced brain injury, and other applicable brain injury types treated at Cognitive FX.
- Understand and be aligned with the unique approach that Cognitive FX takes to treatment.
- Take the lead to ensure that each patient receives the highest level of post care treatment and quality of care at Cognitive FX.
- Stay up to date on emerging research in the field to give the most correct answers to patients and potential patients about their medical and/or scientific questions.
- Be understanding and flexible with changing clinic projects and process timelines, and work with others to facilitate ongoing progress.
- Provide direct patient care in a clinic or outpatient setting.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
- Oversee a cognitive therapy program under the supervision of the Clinical Director.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with individuals in a clinical setting
- Background and knowledge in neuroanatomy
- Excellent with people. Must be able to read emotions and respond accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proactive in learning
Helpful Skills/Experience:
- Understanding of a variety of technology and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and Zoom.

Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
