Job Overview

 

The #1 Concussion Clinic is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator

Cognitive FX specializes in treating individuals with post-concussion symptoms and/or brain injury. Our patients on average improve by 75% in one week. Our patients report that it is our culture/environment, our approach, and our techniques that make the difference in their treatment.  

 

It is a full time, on-site work Monday-Friday in Provo Utah.

 

Responsibilities and Duties 

 

  • Guide and check in with patients through various therapeutic activities (training is provided) to improve cognitive functioning to make sure they feel welcome and comfortable 
  • Meet with patients at the end of their treatment week to explain their specific plan for at-home therapies and assemble a packet with the information that therapists assign to the patient throughout the week for the patient to take home.  
  • Light cleaning of the office at the end of each day once the patients have left the building 
  • Communicate with all members at the clinic regarding patients, new ideas

Qualifications and Qualities 

 

  • Great with people, especially those in distress. must be able to read emotions and respond accordingly. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Proactive in learning and doing what needs to be done without direct instructions.  

 

Helpful Skills/Experience 

 

  • Experience working with brain injury patients along with an understanding of their physiological, psychological, and emotional symptoms.
