Apply to become an Patient Sales Representative at Cognitive FX
Patient Sales Representative
Part-time, remote based work.
Cognitive FX treats people with lingering symptoms after concussion and brain injury. Many of our patients have been struggling for months or years and have already tried other options. Your job is to talk with them, help them understand whether our program is a fit, and walk them through enrollment when it is.
There is room to grow as our patient volume does.
What the work looks like
Most of your time goes to phone and Zoom consultations with prospective patients and their families. The patient will talk with a doctor about the case, and they will determine if they are a good fit. If they are, you will review the logistics with them to sign up for our program, and you can expect around 12 consultations per week.
You will:
- Explain the logistics, what it costs, and what happens next
- Answer questions and work through concerns honestly, without pressure
- Route clinical and candidacy questions to our clinical team
- Follow up with prospective patients who need time to decide
- Keep notes, follow-ups, and your pipeline current.
- Stay in touch with former patients about follow-up and continued care
Our treatments are one- or two-week intensive program, mostly self-pay, and many patients travel from out of state to see us. That means real conversations about cost, travel, and timing, and you need to be comfortable with all of it.
You'll do well here if you
-
Have 1+ years in sales, patient coordination, or a similar role where you talked people through big decisions
-
Sound warm and steady on the phone, and are a genuinely good listener
-
Can talk about price plainly and ask for a decision without being pushy
-
Follow up reliably without needing reminders
-
Want to be measured on results
Healthcare sales experience is a plus.
