TMS for Salt Lake City
TMS therapy for Salt Lake City
Accelerated TMS for depression that hasn't lifted after two or more antidepressants. Our clinic is in Provo, about 45 minutes south of downtown Salt Lake City, and the full course takes one week instead of 6 to 9 weeks of daily visits.
After the screening you can book a free 30-minute consult by video or phone. Nothing is booked or charged until you decide.
Is it a fit?
Is TMS at Cognitive FX right for me?
Tick what's true for you. It's a quick gut check, not a diagnosis. The screening and a free consult with our clinicians decide whether the program fits.

Your week
What does the treatment week look like?
Many Salt Lake patients drive down each morning. Others stay in Provo for the week to skip the commute.
- Friday
Your fMRI scan
A resting-state fMRI on our own MRI, here in the clinic. No outside imaging center to schedule.

- Weekend
Your target is mapped
Our team picks your treatment spot from your scan. You rest at home.
- Monday to Thursday
About 10 sessions a day
Short theta-burst sessions of about 10 minutes, roughly 7 AM to 5 PM, with CBT, physical therapy, massage and light therapy planned between them.
- Friday
Final sessions and your plan
Your last sessions, then a follow-up plan. You leave with a targeting report you can share with your psychiatrist.
Exact times vary a little. Your care team sends your schedule before you start.

What does TMS treat at Cognitive FX?
- Treatment-resistant depression. Depression that hasn't improved after two or more antidepressants. This is who the program is built for.
- Major depressive disorder. TMS is FDA-cleared to treat depression in adults, alongside therapy and medication.
- Depression with anxiety. Many people have both. Using TMS for anxiety itself is off-label, and we can't promise changes in anxiety.
